This is the entry level or 0 on our skill-level scale (0..7). To get to the 1 level, Make sure you can execute the Hello World! script. If you can, try the Named colors exersize.

If you're having trouble installing or running perl, executing the hello.pl script or need to know more about MediaWiki or perl, ask a question below.

If this is all way too simple for you, would you mind helping write or improve this and other tutorials, write a Perl installation guide, perldoc reference or Help:Build the context for the WikiaPerl module and get it ready for CPAN? (and/or get CPAN ready for WikiaPerl)
